Career and Technical Education Team.

  • Career Major: (also known as career pathway, or career academy) organizes a sequence of courses around a broad field of professions that prepare students for entry into postsecondary education and/or high-skill, high-wage careers. These broad fields of study typically include a structured work experience connected to classroom learning, which lead to a diploma and a skill certificate — recognized by the respective industry — and include at least two years of postsecondary education.
