Wisconsin Adaptive Skills Resource Guide

The Wisconsin Adaptive Skills Resource Guide was developed with the support of an IDEA discretionary grant, #2001-9908-18, from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

This guide has been divided into five components of learning, more fully described in the Introduction Section. The five components are:

  1. Functional Academics
  2. Vocational Transition
  3. Community Living
  4. Independent Living
  5. Leisure Time and Recreational Skills

The contents of this document were developed under a grant from the Department of Education. However, those contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
