Home Based Private Education-Statistics
ENROLLMENT STATISTICS
Enrollment data for the Home-based Private Educational Program is available by CESA, grade level, public school district, as well as statewide.
Please note: Beginning with the 2000-01 school year, the Department of Public Instruction no longer collects enrollment data for students in prekindergarten and kindergarten. To facilitate year-to-year comparisons, the data shown for school years prior to 2000-01 has been adjusted to exclude enrollments in those grade levels.
A comparison of enrollment in the home-based private educational programs and public and private school enrollment is available in a multi-year listing for the years 2019-2020 through 2024-25. To request additional year data please contact Home-Based Private Education at homeschooling@dpi.wi.gov.
