State Performance Plan for 2026-2031

The State Performance Plan (SPP) represents the Department of Public Instruction's (DPI) plan for improving outcomes of children served by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in Wisconsin. DPI will focus its work on activities related to the indicators in the SPP to improve outcomes for children with disabilities.

In 2026, DPI is writing the six-year plan for Wisconsin’s students served by IEPs – but, it’s everybody’s plan, and we’re looking for input from YOU.

Are you interested in just one part of special education? All of it? We want to hear from you! Please click on a topic, below, to learn more and to share your thoughts. Comments are due by July 1, 2027.
