Special Education Leadership Induction Program
The Wisconsin Induction Program for Special Education Leaders (WIPSEL) will conduct a one-year induction program for new (within their first five years) special education leaders. The fields of special education and pupil services require strong leadership to address the complex needs of students with IEPs and to support those entrusted with their education. The one-year induction program for new special education leaders will be designed to build capacity around HLPs, CCR IEPs, comprehensive special education evaluations, and other related special education issues and evidence-based practices. Most importantly, the induction program will provide crucial coaching and offer a network of support to build emotional resilience and problem-solving skills.
