- WISEdata Portal
Update to Validation Error 7461: Check sections as well as section associations
We updated Validation Error 7461, in which a student section exists with a 'Certified Career Education' program in 23/24 and prior school years or an 'Industry Recognized Credentials' program starting from the 24/25 school year, but the Certificated Program Status Type has not been submitted per student. This validation now checks programs submitted in both the /StudentSectionAssociation and /Section endpoints. Previously, it only reviewed /StudentSectionAssociation, which could trigger warnings even when a Certified CE or IRC program was already reported in /Section. This update reduces false warnings and improves accuracy for LEAs.
Course Resource - Add Status Filter to Exclude Deprecated
We added a new “All non-deprecated” option to the Course Status filter on the WDP > Resources > Courses page. This option displays only new and continuing courses while excluding any marked as deprecated, and is available for current and future school years without replacing existing filters.
- Ed-Fi Credential
New Feature: API Resource Visualization > Ed-Fi API Resources
We enhanced visibility into API resources and descriptors with a primary intended audience of EdTech vendors. This update allows users to visually explore available API resources, see which claimsets have access to each resource, and understand how data is scoped, including which values are included or filtered out. This improved transparency helps streamline troubleshooting, validation, and overall management of credential configurations.

Change Requests download includes Local Person ID Type
We added a column to the Change Requests download to show the Local Person ID Type for each change request record in the download. This new column will show ‘Staff’, ‘Student’, or ‘Staff/Student’ depending on which local person ID type/s the WISEid contains. This change may be helpful to users who want to download all pending change requests and sort by person type to work on only students or only staff.

Early Literacy Screening Dashboard
- We added a Language filter to show English-speaking students, Spanish-speaking students, or both.
- We fixed a bug to correct a sorting issue on the Summary metrics.

We updated Validation Warning 6498.
PS and WISE webpages:
DPI’s website is now on an updated platform. Expect small changes over the coming weeks as we adjust the website settings so that it appears and behaves similarly to the site’s previous platform.
We updated Access Files or Folders from DPI with steps to:
- open files in a browser tab (Microsoft Office online)
- open files in Google Drive
- open files in LibreOffice (a suite of apps like Microsoft Office’s, in which the desktop version is free)
The "day" view of the WISE Events Calendar is no longer a separate webpage; it is now an option embedded on the "month" view of the calendar.
