The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) released the final version of the Library Services and Technology Act Institute of Museum and Library Services (LSTA) Grant Information and Guidelines 2024. All Wisconsin regional public library systems are eligible to apply.
Literature, poetry, coding, robotics, and solar eclipses are just some of the learning topics covered across school libraries in Wisconsin. During School Library Month, DPI’s Assistant State Superintendent for the Division for Libraries and Technology Dr. Darrell Williams traveled approximately 1500 miles in April to visit school and public libraries across the state to celebrate and honor our library media specialists who are helping our young people with a love of literacy and learning.

Connecting Wisconsin Libraries is a networking group of school and public libraries that meets quarterly to facilitate collaboration with Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) stakeholders and Wisconsin Educational Media and Technology Association (WEMTA) stakeholders, and to foster collaboration between school and public libraries on a statewide level.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's Library Services Team is celebrating our state's library staff, volunteers, and supporters during National Library Week, April 7-13.
