The Vision for TEE
Technology and Engineering Education (TEE) equips students with essential skills to understand and create technology and engineering solutions. Within the core curriculum, TEE integrates hands-on projects with science and math concepts, such as designing sustainable energy systems or developing community-based prototypes. This approach reinforces STEM skills and encourages problem-solving and innovation.
Extracurricular and intracurricular activities like robotics clubs, engineering challenges, SkillsUSA, and technology fairs provide additional opportunities for students to explore their interests beyond the classroom. Workshops, guest lectures, work-based learning opportunities, along with business and industry partnerships further enhance their learning experience by exposing them to real-world applications and career possibilities in technology and engineering.
In a healthy school program, TEE supports overall student development by fostering critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence. By blending practical projects with broader academic goals and providing diverse learning formats, TEE helps prepare students for future success in a technology-driven world.
