Forward Exam Trainings

Forward Exam District and School Assessment Coordinator (DAC/SAC) Training

Required training for DACs and SACs. This training covers all aspects of administration and management of the Forward Exam from start to finish including training, set-up, preparation, reporting and any updates/changes. (Approximately 55 minutes).

Test Administrator Training

Required for all Forward Exam Test Administrators (TAs) that covers all information TAs need to prepare for and administer the Forward Exam from start to finish. (Approvimately 37 minutes)

Forward Exam Q&A Webinar

An optional Q&A webinar that takes place in early February. This webinar provides an opportunity for District and School Assessment Coordinators (DACs/SACs) and District and School Technology Coordinators (DTCs/STCs) to ask DPI and DRC staff questions about Forward Exam test set-up, administration, or technology that may have come up after reviewing the training videos and other resources. (Coming in 2027)

2026 Forward Exam DAC/SAC Training 

Training for DACs/SACs. This training covers all aspects of administration management of the Forward Exam from start to finish including training, set-up, preparation, administration, reporting and any updates/changes. (55 minutes)

2026 Forward Exam Test Administrator Training

Forward Exam Q&A Webinar

Accessibility Training

This PowerPoint training is a supplement to the Accessibility Guide. It covers the three types of accessibility features available on the Forward Exam: Universal Tools, Designated Supports, and Accommodations. This training is can be used by District and School Assessment Coordinators in their test administrator/proctor trainings. 

Forward Exam Test Security Training

This PowerPoint training is a supplement to the Test security Manual. This training is can be used by District and School Assessment Coordinators in their test administrator/proctor trainings. Test Security Training information is also available on the Forward Exam Test Security webpage. 

District Technology Coordinator Training
