Wisconsin School Finance Portal (WiSFiP) - Pilot Project Continues Into 2024-25 SY

In an effort to simplify the process of data collection for district personnel responsible for the PI 1563 pupil counts, DPI is continuing the "Pilot Program for Membership Pupil Count Collection" (referred to more simply as 'Pupil Count') through WiSFiP. The pilot program will continue during the 2024-25 school year.

  • Residency Begin Date: The month, day, and year on which the student exited the residency status.
  • Residency End Date:  The month, day, and year on which the student exited the residency status.

If a student leaves, returns, and leaves again, there would be multiple end dates. Changes in residency end dates do not change the enrollment record. More detailed information can be found on the Enrollment and Exit Date data element page.

USES: Residency begin and end dates are used to determine a student's residency timeline.
