Sharing Information Across Systems

Created By: DPI

You might already know that schools and other systems such as juvenile justice, social services, and healthcare, can share confidential information about a person with their informed consent or under a court order. Do you know what other circumstances allow this information-sharing? This PDF, "Sharing Information Across Systems," summarizes the other circumstances in which these systems can share confidential information.

This resource helps local school districts and their community partners develop local policies, procedures, and agreements about how they will share information across systems.
