Waiver Statement
Waiver Statement: PI-1207 Private School Report
The waiver statement status data element asks if a private school would like to be included in miscellaneous mailings from DPI and vendor-generated mailings vendors or if the private school is choosing to waive (not receive) these mailings.
This information is found on the Waivers screen of the PI-1207 Private School Report.
If a private school selects ’No’ to DPI mailings, this school may not receive notifications on state and federal funding opportunities that DPI sends out.
Note: Even if a private school selects No to DPI mailings, DPI maintains the right to contact private schools participating in federal programs (e.g., IDEA, Title I, etc.).
If a private school selects 'No’ to vendor-generated mailings, this school may not receive notifications on scholarship agencies and free services sent out to schools on the private school's file.
Uses
This data element is used to collect required information from private schools.
