Contracts and Agreements - RCCI
Types of Agreements
Permanent Agreement
The Permanent Agreement/Policy Statement is between the DPI, also referred to as the State Agency (SA), and the Residential Child Care Institute (RCCI). An RCCI agrees to administer the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) approved in its contract in accordance with federal regulations including policy and instructions issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the SA.
Online Contract
- All RCCIs participating in the USDA School Meals Programs are required to submit an online contract through Online Services and update it annually.
- Contracts must be submitted and approved before the beginning of the school year on July 1.
- The School Nutrition Online Contract Manual includes step by step instructions for submitting the online contract.
Meal Service Agreement
- If an RCCI is receiving meals from another source (not self-operating) a vended meals agreement or a memorandum of understanding (MOU) depending on the provider, between the RCCI and the meal provider is required. This is uploaded to the school nutrition contract.
- Additional information, including a list of meal providers, agreement templates, and policy guidance is found in the Meal Service Agreement section of the DPI School Nutrition website.
