Wisconsin offers multiple options to meet the requirements to become a Wisconsin licensed teacher, pupil services professional, or administrator. The information that follows is meant to provide information on those different options. This page does not contain application materials. In order to apply for a license you must visit the apply for a license section of this site.

A Bachelor’s degree is the minimum degree requirement for most Wisconsin teaching licenses.

A Master’s degree, Education Specialist degree (EdS), or Doctoral degree is required for most Pupil Services and Administrator licenses.
